We are delighted to be bringing Tenx9 to Sandino’s in Derry.
Tenx9 is a storytelling evening where nine people have up to ten minutes each to tell a true story from their life. Tenx9 was started in Belfast in 2011 by Pádraig Ó Tuama (a Corkman) and Paul Doran (a Derryman!). Since then it has spread to 17 cities around the world, and now we are delighted to bring it to Derry — at Sandino’s at 7pm on December 6th.
Our theme for this first Tenx9 in Derry is ‘Home’. We are looking for a true story from your own life about Home. Buying one, losing one, searching for one, why Derry is the best home, why you made your home there - you get it. It needs to be a true story from your own life. You can read it on the night, or tell it without notes, but we always need to read a submission.
If you’d like to be considered for a slot at Tenx9, we’d love to read your submission.
We’ve a video here that’ll give you a flavour of the stories we have. And you can always listen to our podcast. You’ll need to read our editorial guidelines and you can send us an idea for a story via our submissions form.
