We had a great night tonight at Tenx9, hearing stories of moving from London to Switzerland to Belfast; the body of a brother laid out in a home; living in one place and yearning for another; asking inappropriate questions in the home of a friend; finding home on a ship in Japan; coming home drunk for the first time; being petrified at home; finding home in friends but not dodgy landlords in Spain; and finding home in being a parent.
Thanks to Aine, Emma, Seán, Maria, Conor, Sarah,Naomh, Nuala and Paul. Thanks, too, to our wonderful audience. The quality of the listening helps the quality of the story, and our audience are always wonderful.
We have two Tenx9 events in March. On March 11th, we have a night with the wonderful Imagine festival of politics and ideas, the theme for that is People Power. That'll be in the Black Box at 7.30pm
And then, on March 25th, we will have a Tenx9 in the Black Box, 7.30pm, with the theme 'Karma' - with thanks to Preeti for suggesting this theme. Do you have a story for either of these events? Have a read of our editorial guidelines and get in touch with us and we'll be delighted to talk with you.
