Tenx9 with CS Lewis Festival 2014

We are delighted to partner with the CS Lewis Festival for a night of stories on November 20th in Belmont Tower. Our theme for this night will be 'East Belfast'. You'll need to book a free ticket - click here to get this.

We are looking for 9 storytellers to tell true stories of up to 10 minutes (not a target! - just a limit) on the theme of 'East Belfast'. They can be stories of having lived there, of having moved there, or moved from there, stories of wonder from the neighbourhoods and the streets, secrets of the streets, nights to remember and days to forget. We can help you with writing your story so if you have a story to tell, have a read of some our tips and then get in touch with us.

Tenx9 Belfast Grand Parents

Our Tenx9 for November 19th 2014 is 'grand parents' - this can be interpreted in so many ways - your grandparents, being a grandparent, trying to be a parent who is grand, having parents who were grand or not grand. We want to hear stories that come to mind from this.

Tenx9 Belfast - Oct 22. Theme "Sorry"

Tenx9 on October 22nd, 7.30pm in the Black Box. Our theme for this night is 'Sorry'. There are so many things to say about sorry - sorry for wrecking your car, for borrowing your straighteners, sorry for frightening you, sorry for not telling you the truth, things you've said sorry for when you shouldn't, and things you should have sorry for but didn't. So, come along - tell us your story. If you want to tell a story, check out our tips and then drop us a line

Tenx9 with Bounce Festival 2014

We are thrilled to be partnering with the Bounce Festival this year with a double-bill. Bounce is the Arts and Disability Forum's annual arts festival that showcases outstanding work by professional writers, directors, actors, dancers and musicians, all of whom are disabled and deaf. We will have a shortened Tenx9 event (five stories) followed by Robert Softley Gale's play "If These Spasms Could Speak". The Tenx9 event is free and the play is a well-worth-it £8.

Tenx9 Belfast June 18, 2014 - Show and Tell

Tenx9 Belfast,  June 18, 2014 , 7.30pm (first story at 8pm, but come early for seats)

Black Box Belfast (18-22 Hill Street, Belfast).

For our Show and Tell night, we want you to bring an item, and tell the story about it. It may be that ingrown toenail that you had mounted in a velvet box, it may be that silly trinket from the holiday that changed your life, it may be the urn that contains the ashes from your pet budgerigar or it may be the favourite pair of shoes that you can never throw out. We all have items that have stories and stories behind them. On June 18, in the Black Box, bring along those items, and tell the story of them.
